AKP Phnom Penh, September 14, 2026 --

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence H.E. Gen. Tea Seiha will lead a high-level Cambodian military delegation to the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum in Beijing, China, from Sept. 15 to 17, 2026.

According to a press release from the Ministry of National Defence AKP received this morning, H.E. Gen. Tea Seiha will attend the Forum at the invitation of H.E. Admiral Dong Jun, Minister of National Defence of the People’s Republic of China.

During the Forum, H.E. Gen. Tea Seiha will deliver a speech at the Second Plenary Session under the theme “Localised Conflicts: Predicaments and Pathways to Resolution.”

On the sidelines of the Forum, the Cambodian Defence Minister will pay a courtesy call on and hold bilateral discussions with H.E. Admiral Dong Jun to further strengthen the ironclad friendship, comprehensive strategic partnership, and defence and security cooperation between Cambodia and China.

H.E. Gen. Tea Seiha will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Laos, Viet Nam and Singapore, as well as representatives of other participating countries and dialogue partners.

The meetings will provide opportunities to exchange views on regional and international security developments and further broaden and deepen defence and security cooperation.

According to the Ministry, the engagements are also expected to enhance mutual understanding and advance practical cooperation for peace, stability and prosperity in the region and beyond.
