Tourism Minister to Participate in 20th Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo
AKP Phnom Penh, August 25, 2026 --
H.E. Huot Hak, Cambodian Minister of Tourism, will lead a delegation to participate in the 20th Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo (ITE-HCMC 2026) and related meetings from Aug. 25-29 in Ho Chi Minh City, the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
According to the Ministry of Tourism’s press release issued on Aug. 25, the 20th International Tourism Exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City 2026 is anticipated to have participation from 40 international companies, 500 booths, and 260 buyer companies. On this occasion, the Ministry of Tourism will also organise the Cambodia Tourism Promotion Roadshow, aiming to boost the flow of Vietnamese tourists and international tourists from Viet Nam (Plus One) to Cambodia.
During the International Tourism Exhibition, H.E. Minister will lead the Cambodian delegation to participate in three subregional tourism ministerial meetings, namely: the 1st Meeting of Cambodia-Lao PDR-Viet Nam (CLV) Tourism Ministers, the 8th Meeting of Cambodia-Lao PDR-Myanmar-Viet Nam (CLMV) Tourism Ministers, and the 7th Meeting of ACMECS Tourism Ministers.
H.E. Huot Hak will also deliver keynote remarks on “The Development and the Potential of MICE Tourism in Cambodia” at the High-Level Tourism Forum on MICE Tourism, attend as a guest of honor at Vietnam Night, attend the Opening Ceremony Ribbon-cutting of the 20th Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo, and showcase the Cambodian booth to government leaders and tourism ministers of other countries.
